Through the generosity and support of many individuals and companies, we were able to bring the message of Christmas joy and happiness to the families of Shady Lane, a manufactured home community located in Thermal, California.

​Home to approximately 150 men, women and children, Shady Lane is mainly comprised of farm workers with very limited resources.  The Foundation organized a Christmas Adopt-A-Family program for the residents.  Gifts and funds were collected in order to insure that each and every person at Shady Lane received a special present for Christmas.

Although it was raining, it did not stop our volunteers' hearts from shining as they went door-to-door delivering gifts to the residents. Many families expressed their gratitude and were at a total loss for words.  We then gathered together in community to share food, drinks and celebrate the season of giving.
